For the safety of everyone, we are practicing strict sanitation after every client. We can ensure that our makeup and makeup brushes are adequately sanitized after every use. Our team has chosen to be vaccinated for our protection and the protection of others and will always wear a mask while on the job. Unfortunately, if someone from your party shows flu-like symptoms such as a stuffy nose, we cannot provide makeup or hair services. We hope you understand and respect our policy.

Do I need to have a trial? Trials are entirely optional but 100% highly recommended. It is just as crucial for the hair & makeup artist as it is for the bride. Having the chance to try different looks means that on the wedding day, you will feel confident that your hair and makeup are just as you had planned (there is an additional $50 fee for all bookings without trials).
Where will my trial run take place at? All hair + makeup trials are scheduled at our salon located in Tierrasanta, just off the 52 East and I-15.   Do you travel for a Trial? We do not, but we will travel on your wedding day.
Are deposits required to hold my date? Yes, both trials and wedding dates require a deposit.
Why must I pay a deposit for my hair and makeup preview? All dates are first come, first serve basis. With a retainer in place, we will temporarily hold your wedding date. Hair trials must be scheduled within six weeks of receiving the deposit unless it's for the following fiscal year. Contracts cannot be generated unless the bride chooses not to have a trial and move forward with reserving the date. A 50+ fee will be added to all bookings without trials.
When do I sign the official contract? You can sign any time to lock in your date. We will email you a form with the basic information needed to generate a contract. All contracts are digital and can be easily accessed. You will receive an email from 17hats.com allowing you to view our booking agreement and sign online. Once both parties review and sign the booking agreement, the entire booking deposit must be received within 24hrs of signing to become official.
What forms of payment do you accept? We accept Cash and Venmo. Visa + Mastercard are welcome; however, a 3% fee will apply to the final price.
Will you stay on-site for touchups? The provided timeline will have a 30 min block at the end of the services for touchups. If you would like additional time and an artist to stay on-site, there will be an additional charge per hour per artist.
What type of makeup brands do you use? As any professional makeup artist, we use only the highest-end makeup products. Always hypoallergenic, free of waxes and parabens. From MakeupForever, Laura Mercier, NARS, Charlotte Tilbury, Anastasia, MAC, among other things. We always use the proper foundation based on skin texture, tone, and sensitivity.
